How to Style Dubarry Country Boots

If you are a fan of country boots and need some ideas on how to style them, I’ve got some for you! As an equestrian who loves fashion, I’m always looking for more ways (and excuses) to incorporate my barn clothes into my everyday wardrobe. Here are three ways I styled my Dubarry of Ireland country boots for an outing on a fall day. Think English countryside meets Yellowstone and you’ll get the vibe I was going for! See what you think!

    Styling An Equestrian Country Outfit

Top off your look with a wool hat and a few pheasant feathers!

    Inspired by the English Countryside

Here I was inspired by the idea of the English countryside. I went with muted green skinny jeans and wool boot socks tucked into my Dubarry Galway Country Boots. I added a soft camel cashmere turtleneck and a deep green quilted barn jacket. I topped it off with a grey wool fedora. To get the look I was going for, I added a few pheasant feathers to the band of my wool hat. I really like how it turned out!

For a little variation on the same idea, I swapped out the green jeans for another pair in a soft rust color. I really like how they contrast with the green jacket and pull in more of an autumn color palette.

    Inspired by Yellowstone

    Vintage Wool Blanket

Here’s where the Yellowstone inspiration came in! I just happened to grab this vintage wool blanket from my house on the way out the door. I was actually just planning to use it to sit on, but once we got outside, I realized it was the perfect compliment to the rest of the outfit! It kind of makes a great poncho!

    More English Countryside Inspiration

With a tweed cap, we’re back to the English countryside! It’s amazing how one accessory can change the whole look of an outfit. This is the essentially the same outfit as the first one but the tweed newsboy style hat gives it a different feel. It’s hard to decide which one I like best and so fun to play with different options!
